Delta privacy policy
In short: Delta doesn't collect, store or share any personal data. It has no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking.
What Delta stores
Delta saves your settings on your device so they are there next time: the circuit you picked, rain and race inputs, custom plans, the driver you compared and any calibration you applied. This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it. If you turn on race reminders, they are scheduled and shown by your phone itself; no server is involved.
Network requests
Delta connects to the internet only when you tap Retrieve on the Compare tab. It then downloads public race timing data (sessions, results, lap times and tyre stints) over HTTPS from openf1.org, an independent open-source timing service.
- These requests contain no personal information, account or device identifier.
- Like any web server, openf1.org may see your IP address when it answers. Its own privacy practices apply to that.
What Delta doesn't do
- No account or sign-in
- No advertising or advertising identifiers
- No analytics, crash-reporting or tracking services
- No access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files
- No selling or sharing of data with third parties
Children
Delta isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If Delta ever starts handling data differently, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change before the new version of the app is released.
